From the nights

Glory and shame

Every card the nights have given PiÑa, newest first.

Night 6 · Bonemass Can Wait

Mead-bringer, lumberjack and the voice of help

Good at
Looking after the crew: he fetched 40 poison resistance meads from Spuggeli's Crossing in the middle of the march and dropped 35 at the front for the others.
Bad at
The bog: six deaths on the march, three of them in four minutes.

Glory

  • Got farther into the bog than anyone: about 440 m past the portal, hacking at a bone pile.
  • 45 earthworks and 19 paving stones for the road.
  • Planted eight fir saplings along the new road, four on each side.
  • 10 bronze at Beacon Hill to end the night, and three treasure chests opened.

Shame

  • Chopped down Sfin's pretty fir for a joke: five blows, six seconds, with Sfin standing next to it. Then he picked up the cones.
  • Talked to Hugin 18 times, two more than the new Viking.
  • “help” × 693.

Night 5 · Iron and the Haunted Mansion

Tin miner, builder and the voice of help

Good at
Building: 272 pieces, five times his old best (52), most of them walls, gates and torches on the west side of Spuggeli's Crossing.
Bad at
Reading labels: at 21:56 he ate a Bukeperry straight out of a chest. The game says it “allows the consumer to quickly evacuate any misplaced meal and start anew”.

Glory

  • Came back after two weeks stranded 1.9 km south of base and mined tin there alone for 40 minutes. 40 tin ore came home in Uggeli's Karve.
  • Got an Iron Sword and Iron Buckler from Crusherina, and claimed a bed in the haunted mansion.
  • Made the crew's first horse meat skewers.

Shame

  • One Draugr arrow killed him 68 seconds after he reached the mansion.
  • Pressed “help” 1,312 times, beating his own record of 1,034.

Night 4 · Meat Factories and Bonemass

On a real-life quest for Petteri

Good at
Not dying: no deaths, no falls, the cleanest record on the server.
Bad at
Being here.

Glory

  • His bronze atgeir spent the night in the swamp in Uggeli's hands.
  • The only Viking nothing killed tonight.

Shame

  • Missed the Bog Witch, the first Abomination and the portal to Bonemass.
  • Away on a real-life quest. Petteri's fault.

Night 3 · The Leviathan Night

The smith and the rescuer

Good at
Smithing: all 152 bronze bars the group made, two bronze armour sets and 100 nails.
Bad at
Fighting: the fewest kills of the night (28) and the least damage to the Elders (494).

Glory

  • Built a Karve from scratch and sailed 1.7 km to take three castaways off a Leviathan.
  • Fed the smelters 409 times and made 242 arrows and three horse saddles.
  • Last one on the server, building a walled shelter after midnight.

Shame

  • 898 “help” commands, all from the D-pad, and no one knows why. It's probably Petteri's fault.
  • Put the rescue Karve on the wrong side of the same low bridge that caught Spenglerian an hour earlier.
  • Died 8 times, 4 of them at the altar, once to the Elder's roots.
  • Took four swings at a smelter.
  • Cooked 30 blueberries out of the chests.

Night 2 · The Antler Night

Bronze smith, bow donor, "help" champion

Good at
Bronze: 114 bars and 20 nails crafted, and 147 Coal and 108 Bronze put in the chests.
Bad at
Staying alive: seven deaths in 3.9 hours, the most of the night.

Glory

  • 114 Bronze for the team.
  • Six treasure chests opened.
  • His biggest hit, 77 on a Greydwarf at 23:47.

Shame

  • Offered a Bow to the deer altar. Twice.
  • Burned three times, twice by standing in his own cooking fire. Also drowned once, clawed by a bear and felled by Greydwarfs twice.
  • Sent 1,034 "help" commands from the controller's D-pad. Nobody knows why.
  • Wore the old Bronze armour into all of it.

Night 1 · Bees and a Troll

The man who fought a beehive

Good at
Staying alive: no deaths, even at 3.6 health.
Bad at
Honey, altars and beds.

Glory

  • Took the bear's paw after the fight.
  • Still on his feet at 3.6 health after the hive.

Shame

  • Five minutes at a beehive, 224 unexplained hits, no honey.
  • Offered Greydwarf Eyes to Eikthyr's altar, and clicked a bed 18 times, at least 15 of them in 22 seconds.
